About the Program

Broken Chains Ministry is located in Iago, Texas. Broken Chains Ministry is a 12 – Step Faith - Based Alcohol & Substance Abuse Recovery Ministry. Our Ministry has a bunkhouse that can house 5-6 women for a short time until I can find them a Recovery Facility. I also have a list of Recovery Facilities for men. We offer Bibles, Bible studies, encouragement and hope to each inmate. We offer a 12- Step Faith - Based Alcohol & Substance Abuse Recovery Program for 20 - weeks for addicts who are suffering from alcohol & substance abuse every Tuesday night in Wharton, Texas. The Alcohol & Substance Abuse Classes are also open to family members who want to be educated about addiction. Our Ministry also offers our own published 12- Step Faith Based Recovery Program and other materials.

About Annette

Annette Brockman has a certificate of Completion of the Level II Residential Treatment Program from the Brazoria Alcoholic Recovery Center. She is also a Volunteer Chaplain of Substance Abuse in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Texas City, Texas. Annette has done volunteer services for 2 - Pathway to Recovery Centers, Boys & Girls Club and Sand Stone Recovery Centers for young men & women. She is a member of Coalition of Prison Evangelist, American Association of Christian Counselors and Abell Street Church of Christ in Wharton, Texas. Annette has taught classes that were 20 weeks long using her book called A Mended Life .. Finding Christ in the Darkness.
